Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) are unique campaigning organisation of marine conservation activists protecting beaches, oceans and marine life in the UK and beyond. 

Building on the success of their plastic-free schools and communities programmes, the new site represents the organisation as one that achieves results challenges businesses and governments and is a leading voice in the environmental protection space.

UX + UI Design


Through practical support and a wealth of information, Turn2us works with individuals with lived experience to develop schemes to support members of the public who face financial shocks and difficulties.

Following intensive research and collaborative activities with Turn2us, optimised user journeys were developed to use as a marker when making decisions about changes to their website.

The overall design improves both the usability and accessibility of the website, in turn increasing the proportion of people taking certain actions such as utilising their Benefits Calculator tool.
